When Baldridge Architects first contemplating the sublease of the space currently occupied by Austin Bikes as their new home. But Burton was instead drawn to the existing masonry unit warehouse at the rear of the Clarksville’s TV Repair.
As a firm, Baldridge Architects are typically asked to temper its more modern inclinations to ensure that spaces are also warm and inviting. With its own office Baldridge Architects sought to produce a design that is, to the contrary, striking in its minimalism. A final design-build project, we worked to include carefully conceived details that demonstrate first-hand how a project can simultaneously be simple and dynamic, minimalist and warm, off-putting and inviting.
The project comprises office space, conference room, kitchenette, bathroom, and a lounge and storage below.
